The team was originally scheduled to race in the Lubber's Cup in northwest Michigan, but due to weather that race was cancelled.
Miami University was very accommodating and allowed Case and Ohio State to re-group and join the fun at their RedHawk Sprints.
Heats and finals were run on the 4-lane course. The men's novice 4 was slotted as the "B" boat in the varsity race since
the other novice crews scratched.
