SARA was able to field a Men's 8+ for the 2003 Head of the Cuyahoga. The weather was beautiful and the SARA
8+ was able to beat the student entry from Case Crew by over a minute and coming in 3rd overall.
Also at this race, the SARA founders signed the legal paperwork making the organization a reality.

SARA Fundraising Dinner
Also at this race, the SARA founders signed the legal paperwork making the organization a reality. To kick
the fundraising efforts off, that evening we held a banquet where the topic of conversation was Tim Marcovy LAW '77.
Tim has been the coach of Case Crew since its inception with only a small hiatus so his wife thought it would
be a grand idea to roast Tim in front of his current and former rowers. The event was held at the
Cleveland Heights-Rockefeller Center. The evening was a success with Tim properly embarrassed and much money raised.

Tim's children, Megan and Aaron, also made it into town and helped put together a slide show of some of Tim's
finer rowing moments. As many of us know, Tim enjoys the finer aspects of hops, barley yeast and water so
we all "Topped One Off For Tim"!
