Many races were scheduled, but the coaches and alumni decided to just run tha mixed 8+ race. After starting late, we
wanted to be able to catch 3-time Olympic goal medalists Mary Whipple as she toured the boathouse so running only
one race helped. This also allowed the alumni to keep nothing in reserve for their impressive "deck length" win!
It also helped the alums that the starting alignment was performed by a biased bysander and the students all switched sides.
